A Rochester woman is facing charges after investigators say she tried to start a fire at a home on Clairmount Street Thursday morning.

Chloe C. Goodrum, 49, of Rochester, is charged with attempted arson.

Emergency crews were called to Clairmount Street just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a person trying to light an occupied multi-unit residence on fire. Investigators say Goodrum had doused one of the units with an ignitable liquid during a domestic dispute and that she was attempting to set it on fire.

Goodrum is in the Monroe County Jail awaiting her arraignment. No one was injured.
