A local high school senior is being honored for doing the right thing.

Back in December, Bryan Cicilia, who goes to All City High School, got a text from his close friend and classmate. The student was missing from class and all the text said was “bridge”.

Without hesitation, Bryan alerted the teacher and immediately went to the bridge nearest to the school. When school officials and police arrived, they found Bryan comforting his distraught friends and prevented what could have been a horrible tragedy.

Bryan Cicilia said, "It was just one of those times you need somebody to talk to, even though you don't realize you want somebody to talk to. Everybody knows that feeling of being lonely."
