News10NBC has learned that the owner of Buckingham Properties will purchase the Bausch and Lomb building.

Larry Glazer, of Buckingham Properties, will purchase the building on One Bausch and Lomb Place for around $15 million. He will partner with developers Bob Morgan and David Flaum for the purchase.

Bausch and Lomb was purchased by Valeant Pharmaceuticals last year. A majority of the offices in the building are now vacant.

Glazer says the purchase is related to developing Midtown Tower site. Glazer joined forces with Morgan Management to purchase the tower. The tower will be turned into trendy, modern apartments, retail and office space.

Buckingham Properties also purchased the Xerox Tower in 2013.
