A 55-year-old Virginia man is facing a slew of charges in Canandaigua.

Police say Todd Curtis of Roanoke, Virginia was asked to leave a Main Street apartment around 7 p.m. Saturday but refused to do so. During that time, police say Curtis struck the person who lives there in the head multiple times.

Curtis was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass, harassment, criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Investigators say while he was being processed, he fought with officers and was subsequently charged with two counts of assault.

Curtis is being held in the Ontario County Jail without bail.
