For the first time since Buffalo Bills owner, Ralph Wilson Jr. passed away, his wife, Mary, is speaking publicly.
At the Rochester Press Radio Club Dinner of Champions, Mrs. Wilson accepted an award for her late husband. Ralph was awarded the Don Holleder Award. The award recognizes a person with extraordinary sportsmanship, character, and courage. Holleder was an Aquinas grad who served in the Army. He was killed in Vietnam attempting to rescue his fellow soldiers.
Mary reflected for several minutes about Ralph’s time in western New York and his service in the Navy. Mrs. Wilson shared stories about Ralph’s time at training camp or shopping at Wegmans. She said Ralph would've been honored to receive such a prestigious award.
