For the third consecutive summer, the Knighthawks held a parade in downtown Rochester following their indoor lacrosse championship. No other National Lacrosse League team has ever had three straight championship parades. That’s because no other team has ever won three straight Champion's Cups. The Knighthawks celebrated their historic season on the streets of Rochester.

It has become a tradition in the city. It is another cup for the Knighthawks and another ride down State Street to City Hall, where fans cheered on their favorite players and got up close and personal with the Champion's Cup.

Knighthawks forward and Rochester native Joe Walters says this parade is all about the fans.

Joe Walters said, “It's very special, their support is huge for us. If we could get these games at home to come back home was huge. It was a huge bonus. These fans have done a great job. This is just fun to share it with them too.”

Fans are invited to celebrate with the team again tonight at a free party at the Radisson Riverside Hotel from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
