Local leaders to discuss results of study on homeless families in Western NY

Working to address the plight of homeless families in the Rochester area. A new study by a national agency says more than nine out of 10 homeless mothers have suffered at least one kind of trauma that can lead to substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Additional results will be presented during a roundtable discussion at Nazareth College today. Experts will talk about strategies for how local agencies can better serve homeless families.
