A Livonia woman is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say she chased a man with her car, attempting to hit him.
Misty E. Nardone, 19, of Livonia is charged with reckless endangerment, attempted assault, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief.
Sheriff’s deputies say they received numerous calls for a woman driving recklessly through the walking only section of Vitale Park/Freedom Point Park in Lakeville. Sheriff’s deputies determined that the driver was Nardone and that she was involved in an argument with a man, which began in the parking lot of a gas station in Lakeville and continued into Freedom Point Park. During the argument, sheriff’s deputies say Nardone did chase the man with her car and attempted to hit him.
When the man took off into the park, sheriff’s deputies say she proceeded to drive her car through the fence and into the restricted area of the park, while trying to run him down.
Nardone was arraigned in Livonia Town Court and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on bail.
