Rochester gets a passing grade for being friendly to small businesses.
A national survey of business owners by consultants at ThumbTack.com report that the Rochester-area scored a "B" for its support of local entrepreneurs. The state as a whole didn't fare so well, earning a "D-" for business friendliness.
There's good news for people planning to open their own businesses. The survey gave Rochester an “A+” for the ease of creating a company.
