Police ID man shot on Portland Avenue

Rochester Police are still looking for the person who shot a 32-year-old Webster man on Portland Avenue near Grafton Street Friday night.

Police say Earl McCoy man was shot at least once in the upper body. After he was shot, police say he drove himself to Bay Street. McCoy was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say McCoy’s car was also hit by a bullet.

The investigation is ongoing.
