Rain suspends Red Wings game

The Red Wings' Tuesday June 17 home game against Pawtucket has been suspended by rain and wet grounds. The teams will resume play in the top of the 4th inning Wednesday, June 18 at 5:05 p.m, and play nine innings followed by a seven-inning game. Gates open Wednesday at 4 p.m. Tickets for the Tuesday June 17 game can be used for Wednesday June 18, or exchanged for any other remaining regular season home game.

The pre-game autograph session with former Red Sox pitcher Bill Lee will take place at the originally scheduled times of 6-6:45 p.m., and 7:10-8 p.m. Bill will take a short break to throw out the first pitch before the second game Wednesday, depending on the start time of game two.

Fans with tickets for the Tuesday, June 17 game can exchange them for any other remaining regular season home game. All ticket exchanges must be made at the Frontier Field Ticket Office. Please note that these exchanges do not have to be made immediately; fans with tickets for the June 17 game can exchange them throughout the remainder of the 2014 season.
