Recess is about to get more exciting for students at one Rochester school.

On Wednesday, kids at School 43 on Lyell Avenue will try out their new playground starting at 9:50 a.m. The playground, which was made possible by a $313,000 grant from The Greater Rochester Health Foundation, includes more play space and brand new equipment.

School officials say the new area will allow three times as many students to play on it as before. The upgrade comes just in time for the school's summer program.
