Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies cited a woman for driving with a suspended license in a crash that injured her and her three-year-old daughter.

Martina Garcia, 35, of Lyons, was also cited for not wearing a seat belt.

Investigators say Garcia drove off of Maple Street Road, crashed into an embankment, and overturned her car just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Garcia and a passenger, Jesalyn Garcia, 3, were airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for their injuries.

There’s no word on their condition.
