Authorities are calling the man who they say stole a car in Manchester armed and dangerous.

Police say parolee Christopher Rundt is possibly driving a green, 2011 Jeep Liberty with New York Plates that police say he stole while on the run from authorities. Investigators say Rundt was involved in a head-on crash with the chief of the Ithaca Police Department last Thursday.

Our affiliate in Syracuse reports Rundt fled the scene and stole another car a few days later in Trumansburg. Police say Rundt abandoned it in Manchester, Ontario County before stealing another car that had a magnum revolver and an Ontario County police ID in it. Officials say Rundt may be with a woman.

If you have any information about them, you're asked to call 911.
