Law enforcement officials are encouraging residents to share concerns and anonymous tips with them during the second Project T.I.P.S. event of the year.

Rochester Police officers, along with firefighters and volunteers will be out in the Grand Avenue neighborhood Thursday starting at 2 p.m. They'll go door-to-door, hand out surveys, and talk with residents about concerns they have with their neighborhood. Starting at 5 p.m., they'll hold a cook-out at the corner of Grand Avenue and Chamberlain Street.

Organizers say this is an opportunity to help residents get to know their neighbors and get information about city services.
