It’s a chance to voice your opinion about state tests.
Teachers at Cosgrove Middle School in Spencerport are hosting a public forum today. It starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Ogden Farmer’s Library meeting room on Ogden Center Road.

In April, about 60 Cosgrove teachers signed a petition calling on the state to get rid of some state exams or releasing them for public scrutiny. The issue is with this year's third through eighth grade ELA and math tests.

Teachers who signed the petition said the exams traumatize students and create unnecessary stress.
