It's another chance for residents to meet with developers about the controversial plan to redevelop the Port of Rochester.

The first of the three-day workshops starts at 3:00 p.m. at the Port of Rochester Terminal Building on North River Street and runs through Saturday. Each workshop holds a maximum of 15 people, so those who want to attend are asked to pre-register at www.waterfrontrochester.com. The latest meetings are in response to requests from community members for more opportunities to meet with the developers.

Officials say the redevelopment would create jobs and improve tourism, but people who live and work in Charlotte are say it could ruin the feel of their community.
