A proposal to merge Canandaigua’s primary and elementary schools will go before the district's Board of Education today.

According to our news partners at the Messenger Post, the superintendent says no staff will be removed from the current two-building facility and that school administration and faculty will be combined.

The Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the district operations center building on Airport Road in Canandaigua.
