A Steuben County man is $1-million richer after playing the lottery.

Glenn Eaton won the prize by playing Mega Millions. According to Eaton, he bought the ticket because he stopped at a gas station to buy his wife a soda. The winning ticket was sold at Mikey's Gas Mart on Wayland Street in North Cohocton.

He will receive a one-time lump sum payment and will receive more than $660,000 after required withholdings.

Eaton says he plans to pay off his mortgage and take a trip to Virginia to visit family.
