Thursday night, West Irondequoit school leaders are gathering for a meeting. They're expected to talk about plans moving forward concerning the failed budget.
Homeowners rejected the budget twice, the district needed sixty percent of the vote -- or a super majority -- because they wanted to raise property taxes more than two percent.
It would have cost homeowners, on average, around $100 more a year. A public meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Thursday night to discuss the issue.
