Red Wings Split Doubleheader with Buffalo

Tonight the Rochester Red Wings went west in search of a pair of wins. but the task at hand was easier said then done. the road has been anything but friendly this year for the wings.

Rochester entered today 3 and half games back of Syracuse...they could make up some ground in the standings...

But not the start they envisioned...bottom of the opening frame...Brad Glenn letting one ride...it's a 3-run jack...Bisons up early 3-0.

Move to the 5th Wings trail by 2....Dan Rohlfing at the dish...he sends a deep fly ball to center...James Beresford and Chris Rahl score...Rochester ties the game at 3.

Two batters later and the bats continue to be hot in the 5th...Chris Hermann sends a deep fly to center...Dan Rohlfing scores...

Wings take the lead and they never gave it back...they take game one 6-3...
