The cleanup continues at Camp Good Days after devastating floods in May caused extensive damage, forcing the camp to cancel three programs.

Campus Founder Gary Mervis says cleanup efforts have forced him to postpone the program for another week, causing him to cancel a scheduled event for this coming weekend.

Mervis says he can’t thank the community enough for its support and hopes the camp can kick off its 35th summer right after the Fourth of July.

He says camp will be extended a few more weeks in the fall, so that everyone who was looking forward to attending Camp Good Days this year can still do so.

“It’ll be a little different, but fall at the Finger Lakes is very pretty. It’ll provide an opportunity for people to see the camp in a little different light,” Mervis said.
