The search continues for three kidnapped teenagers in Israel that went missing in early June.

News10NBC is told they disappeared after leaving their Jewish Seminary.

Back here at home, community members gathered to pray for those teens.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester sponsored the gathering on Sunday afternoon at the Temple Beth El on Winton Road. They gathered to show solidarity for the Jewish community all over the world.

“The young man from Rochester who moved to Israel a few years ago is actually a close friend of the young boys who was kidnapped. For the Jewish community, it’s not about the geographic distance, it’s about the emotional distance and about the connectedness of the 14.5 million Jews all over the world,” said Larry Fine, from the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester.
