A Rochester man convicted of murder will be back in court on Monday.

Charles Pierre was convicted of killing two people in 2002 on First Street and then setting the house they were in on fire.

Pierre has been granted a new hearing after this attorney says another man, Darrell Boyd, recently confessed to the crime.

Earlier this year, Boyd was convicted for a similar crime he committed back in 2007.

Pierre has been in prison for 12 years, but he’s maintained that he was wrongly convicted.
