Two Medina residents are facing drug charges after an investigation into the sale and distribution of marijuana in the Village of Medina.
News10NBC is told members of the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force executed search warrants at three apartments in Medina on Friday and seized more than a pound of marijuana, a stolen, loaded 22-caliber handgun, a 22-caliber rifle, scales, packaging material, other drug paraphernalia and more than $2,500 in cash.
As a result of the search, police arrested 31-year-old Rodrick Griffin and 34-year-old Kelly Moriarty. Griffin is charged with criminal possession of marijuana, criminal sale of marijuana, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. Moriarty is charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of stolen property.
Both are being held in the Orleans County Jail. We’re told additional arrests and charges are pending.
