A Romulus man suffered seriously injuries after a SUV vs. motorcycle crash in Geneva, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say 70-year-old Veronica Shultz was stopped on Reed Street at Route 5 in the town, when she pulled into the intersection, without seeing a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 5. The motorcycle, driven by 51-year-old Thomas Lane, was unable to stop in time and collided with the side of Shultz's vehicle.

Officials say Lane, the motorcycle and SUV all came to a rest in the parking lot of the America's Best Value Inn nearby. Lane suffered serious injures to his pelvis, leg and face, say deputies. They also tell News10NBC he may have suffered internal injuries.

Shultz was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way. She will answer the charge in Geneva Town Court at a later date.
