A driver is recovering after police say she fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed her car.

Police were called to the scene on North Winton Road just after midnight Tuesday. Investigators say a 45-year-old woman was driving toward Browncroft Boulevard when she hit a parked car, tree and light pole. The woman was taken to Rochester General Hospital for minor injuries.

Investigators say they do not believe alcohol played a factor in the crash.
