Henrietta town crews are working this afternoon to repair a water main break that closed Holy Childhood Tuesday.
Classes ended Monday for the children and adults who go to the school on Groton Parkway in Henrietta. Teachers were supposed to be there today to close up classrooms but the school decided to close after staff noticed large puddles of water outside the school.
President and CEO of Holy Childhood Donna Dedee said, “Fortunately, everything's contained outside, nothing inside, no damage whatsoever. It’s just a matter of people's wellbeing and making sure. You really can't have people at work when there's no running water.”
There is no word on when repairs on the water main will be done.
