Tuesday is day five of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival and local businesses say the big crowds that have come down since Friday are bringing their wallets with them.

Businesses along the jazz fest route on East Avenue tell us music fans are supporting local businesses. They say they are seeing an impact from people in Rochester as well as visitors to our area.

Moe Alaimo owns Havana Moe’s. He said, “Been very, very busy. Everything's great. I mean this puts Rochester on the map, everything's going great.”

Business owners say a lack of rain during the first four days of the festival made a big difference in crowd size.
