Rochester Police are trying to figure out what led to a shooting Tuesday on the city's west side. Police were called to the scene on Driving Park Avenue and Pierpont Street just before 9 p.m.
When they arrived on the scene, police say they found 38-year-old Timothy Fitzpatrick of Rochester in the street with a gunshot wound to the leg. He person was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where they are expected to survive.
Investigators say there are no suspects at this time and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
