Two men are facing robbery charges after an incident Tuesday afternoon in Perinton.

Sheriff’s Deputies tell News10NBC 17-year-old Keyshawn Johnson of Gates and 19-year-old Andrew Cotto of Perinton planned to rob Cody Crippen of an AirSoft gun they believed to be an actual firearm. Investigators say the suspects knocked Crippen to the ground, stole the AirSoft gun, a BB gun and Johnson cut Crippen with a knife.

Both men ran from the scene but were later taken into custody. They are currently being held in the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

The AirSoft gun and BB gun were both recovered.
