A 23-year-old Rochester father has been found guilty of murder in the death of his nine-month-old son Tristen.

Maurice Faison was found guilty of depraved indifference murder, aggravated manslaughter, criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing.

We’re told Tristen’s mother found him unresponsive in his crib last September at his home on Hartsen Street. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

An investigation by the medical examiner's office found that the baby had died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
