General Motors is issuing an important consumer alert. The company has stopped the sales of the Chevy Cruze, its best-selling car. GM says there is a potential problem with the airbags. A device that inflates the airbags in the 2013 and 2014 models could have been assembled with an incorrect part.
GM is working to identify the specific cars that are affected. Dealers are expected to resume deliveries by the end of this week.
