If you're upset about having to be at work during this afternoon's World Cup match between the U.S. and Germany, U.S. Soccer is offering some potential help.
U.S. soccer tweeted out a letter signed by U.S. Men's National Team Head Coach Jurgen Klinsmann that could be handed to bosses as an excuse for absence. Blank spots are left for an employees name and signature.
The letter reads:
"I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause. The #USMNT has a critical World Cup game vs. Germany and we will need the full support of the nation if we are to advance to the next round.
By the way, you should act like a good leader and take the day off as well. Go USA!"
