Are you planning ahead for your Independence Day celebrations? Next week's Fourth of July barbecues will cost more than they did in the past.

Beef for burgers costs 14-percent more since last year, a slice of cheese will costs you 11-percent more and tomato prices are up 12-percent.

Shopping experts say you can save by planning your menu around sales at the grocery store.

Condiments tend to be on sale for their lowest prices of the year around July 4 so experts suggest you stock up on ketchup, mustard and barbecue sauce.
