Rochester Police were on the scene of an overnight shooting at a gas station on the city's northwest side.
Police were called to the gas station on Dewey and Lexington avenues for reports of shots fired just after midnight.
While responding to that call, officer say they received another call for a male shot on Driving Park Avenue, just off of Dewey.
After arriving to the scene, investigators say they determined that victim had been shot on Dewey. The victim -- a 40-year-old male -- suffered wounds to his limbs and mid-body, according to officers. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Rural/Metro and is currently in stable condition.
The investigation is still ongoing, but police say the victim may have been involved in a dispute with the suspect prior to the shooting.
