Another successful Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival is officially in the books. After nine days of excellent music, good food and lots of fun, things are back to normal on the East End.

Crews were on site early Sunday morning tearing down temporary stages and cleaning up. Traffic is also back to normal and all streets have reopened.

Event organizers say they’re already looking forward to next year’s event.

“We’ll rest for a little bit, and then we’ll start again. We’ve already booked a few acts for next year in the Eastman Theatre, but we’ll really kick into gear in September,” said Marc Icona, festival producer.

The official numbers for this year’s Jazz Fest success have not yet been released.
