A panel of mental health experts found that Olympian Oscar Pistorius was not suffering from a mental illness when he shot his girlfriend. That update follows a month-long break for the trial. During that time, Pistorius underwent a mental evaluation.
The defense argues that Pistorius shot his girlfriend because he suffers from an anxiety disorder that affected his ability to decide right from wrong.
Pistorius says he shot Reeva Steenkamp because he thought she was an intruder. Prosecutors say he killed her after an argument.
