Warsaw man charged with stealing $15,000 worth of jewelry and cash

A Warsaw man is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say he stole more than $15,000 worth of jewelry and cash from his girlfriend and girlfriend’s mother.

Peter A. Conway, 28, of Warsaw, is charged with grand larceny.  Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies say Conway entered his girlfriend and girlfriend’s mother’s house in York and stole $15,000 worth of rings and cash. Sheriff’s deputies say he then took the rings to Rochester and sold them. Sheriff’s deputies say he did give a statement admitting to his actions.

Conway was arraigned in York Town Court and sent to the Livingston County Jail on $15,000 cash bail.
