Midtown Tower get millions in funding

A major construction project to replace a Rochester landmark is getting some financial help from the state.

Our partners at the Rochester Business Journal report that the Midtown Plaza site will get $4-million in state funding.

Officials broke ground on the spot in May. The $58-million project is expected to be completed next year and will include office and retail space.
