Wayne County man injured after ATV crash

A Wayne County man is recovering after sheriff's deputies say he was thrown from his ATV Tuesday night.

Wayne County Sheriff's deputies say 33-year-old Curtis Beebe was riding on Burlee Road in Sodus around 8 p.m. when he slammed into a wooden pole and was thrown from the vehicle.

Crews say Beebe was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with multiple fractures in his hip and leg. He is listed in satisfactory condition. Deputies say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
