They are the best in Section Five cheerleading and football, and on Wednesday they spent the day with kids at Golisano Children’s Hospital. On Sunday, these athletes will go head to head in an annual tradition that’s about so much more than the final score.

The Eddie Meath All-Star game puts the best from the east against the west in high school football, but the athletes play every year to raise money for the Golisano Children’s Hospital.

For the last 32 years, the rivalry game has raised more than $155,000 for sick and injured kids.

The big game will be played at the East Ridge High School.
