Things aren't looking good for former Amerks owner Steve Donner. Donner recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

According to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Donner has less than $17,000 in assets, but $9.5 million in debt. The largest debt is $8.5 million owed to NBT Bank for the loan to build Sahlen's Stadium.

At one point, Donner owned the Amerks, Rhinos, Knighthawks and Rattlers, but got out of the Rochester sports market by 2008. Donner was the owner of the Amerks when they won their last Calder Cup in 1996.
