New York State Police are investigating a four-car crash that has left two dead and two others injured on a busy stretch of Interstate 90.
Troopers say the accident occurred just before midnight Friday between exits for Albany and Schenectady.
They say 24-year-old Tyler Pascuzzi was speeding with two passengers aboard a 2004 Volkswagen when he struck a 2003 Honda Civic driven by Brian Miller.
That's when they say the Volkswagen went into a spin, struck a tractor-trailer and split into two pieces. A 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say the 29-year-old Miller lost control and struck the center guide rail. He and Pascuzzi were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A fourth car was struck by debris.
