A Penfield man is facing several charges after investigators say he stole a state police mountain bike and rode it through a crowd at a Penfield park. The incident was captured on video and sent to News10NBC.

According to court paperwork, 20-year-old Shaun Patry is accused of stealing the bike, just after 10:30 p.m. Friday night at Harris Hill Park.  In the paperwork, it says the bike was clearly marked. An officer also says Patry refused to give him his hands by keeping them under his body. For that, he’s been charged with resisting arrest. There is also a grand larceny charge.

Patry is due back in court on July 15.
