Thousands of RG&E customers without power

Thousands of RG&E customers are without power after Tuesday's severe storm. At the height of the storm, more than 27,000 customers were without power, including more than 11,000 in Monroe County. 

Most of the power outages were in Henrietta, Penfield, Perinton, Pittsford and Webster. 

As of 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, 14,000 customers are still without power, including 6,000 in Monroe County. 

RG&E crews are working through the night, hoping to have power restored to customers on Wednesday.
