Livingston County Jail inmate facing charges for damaging fire suppression sprinkler in jail cell

An inmate at the Livingston County Jail is facing more charges after sheriff's deputies say he damaged the fire suppression sprinkler head in a jail cell.

Alek K. Gaby is charged with criminal mischief. He was being held on a violation of a probation charge.

Sheriff's deputies say Gaby damaged a fire suppression sprinkler head in a jail cell in the Livingston County Jail. The damage caused the sprinkler to activate, flooding the cell and the second floor area of the pod in the jail.
