Thrill seekers can take a new 17-story drop. The world’s tallest water slide opens today in Kansas City.

The opening has been delayed a number of times as engineers tweaked the gut-wrenching ride. The 168-foot plus water slide features a 50-foot drop that's taller than Niagara Falls.

Taking the plunge will be a challenge. You have to walk up more than 250 steps to reach the top.
