Batavia Daily News: Man injured after touching power line

A Wyoming County man remains in guarded condition after police say he touched a live power line.

The Batavia Daily News reports 36-year-old Andrew Mower and another man broke into a NYSEG substation in Perry around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say Mower was walking around the building when he touched a 35,000-volt power line. He was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital. The other man was not injured.

Police say charges could be filed.
