You will still see those fuzzy pink mustaches on the front of certain cars around Rochester for the time being.

The State Attorney General's Office says the ride sharing service "Lyft" can continue to operate both in Rochester and in Buffalo for the time being. However, the company won't be able to launch yet in New York City.

Volunteers drive their own cars and pick people up through requests on a smart phone app. Officials say the company violates licensing and insurance laws.

A court date is scheduled for Friday morning and we could learn more details on the company's future then.
